ALEXANDRIA, VA–The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has sold its headquarters here to an entity related to Sunrise Senior Living LLC. The headquarters consist of multiple parcels located 400, 414 and 418 North Washington St., and 413 and 417 North Columbus St.

PIA has acquired new headquarters space, also in Old Town, at 415 and 419 North Lee Street. “As we move just a few blocks away, we look forward to remaining a contributing member to our Alexandria community,” PIA's Executive Vice President & CEO Mike Becker said in a prepared statement.

Newmark Knight Frank's Jeff Tarae, Larry FitzGerald and Chris DiBitetto represented PIA in the sale, as well as in the acquisition of PIA's new headquarters space.

FitzGerald said that PIA's original headquarters, with high visibility along North Washington Street, garnered a lot of attention in the market.
