Firms Based Elsewhere Look to Expand DFW Presence
The latest tenant, Unisys Corporation, is part of the exclusive list of Harwood District tenants in Saint Ann Court, which opened in 2009 and is the sixth out of 18 phases planned by Harwood International.
DALLAS—More leases have been signed at the Harwood District, according to Harwood International. Unisys Corporation is taking space at Harwood No. 6–Saint Ann Court. The new Dallas facility will provide office space for senior executives, as well as sales and services leaders.
Headquartered in Blue Bell, PA, Unisys has a significant presence in Dallas-Fort Worth and throughout the state, with more than a dozen major clients and more than 100 associates here. Unisys is a global information technology company that builds solutions for businesses and governments. Its offerings include security software, services digital transformation, workplace services, industry applications and services, and software operating environments for enterprise computing.

Unisys is part of the exclusive list of Harwood tenants in Saint Ann Court, which includes Amegy Bank, Boston Consulting Group, McDermott Will & Emery, McGuire, Craddock Strother, Northern Trust and Viant Technology. Designed by Los Angeles-based Shimoda Design Group, Saint Ann Court opened in 2009 and is the sixth out of 18 phases planned by Harwood International.
The first level of the two-story red brick building next to Saint Ann Court is Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar and the second level houses The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection. Other features include the Rockefeller Sky Gardens over the 11-story parking garage, Mercat Bistro, valet parking and a private fitness center overlooking the Saint Ann Court garden.

The latest addition to the District is Harwood No. 10, the class-A office tower featuring 220,548 rentable square feet of office and La Rue Perdue, an alleyway consisting of more than 14,000 rentable square feet of retail and restaurant space.
“As we are nearing completion of Harwood No. 10 and the new Rolex Building, we are seeing more demand from companies seeking space in our Harwood District than ever before,” Jessica Young, director of marketing, Harwood International, tells GlobeSt.com. “We are seeing a trend with companies based outside of Dallas looking to expand their presence in our bustling city.”
Harwood District has earned a Walk Score of 92, in walking distance to the city’s notable attractions including the American Airlines Center and the Dallas Arts District. The Uptown Dallas neighborhood has been transformed with office, residential and retail space set within a park-like campus with gardens and art-filled lobbies. The 18-city block District will continue to grow to include more than $3 billion in development.
