NKF Recruits CBRE’s Ryan Miller As DC Market Leader

WASHINGTON, DC–Newmark Knight Frank has recruited Ryan Miller from CBRE to serve as EVP and market leader, overseeing the Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland offices. At CBRE Miller most was managing director, Global Workplace Solutions.

In his new role, Miller will provide strategic direction for NKF’s Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland offices and will work with the service line leaders and national leadership.

NKF’s Chief Revenue Officer Luis Alvarado said that Miller has a keen strategic vision for NKF in the Mid-Atlantic, also noting that he has worked with clients across the many commercial real estate industry sectors.

NKF’s entrepreneurial business model is what in part attracted him to the company, Miller said in a prepared statement. He also pointed to the company’s commitment to technology as a competitive differentiator. “It’s an exciting time to be joining this dynamic company and I look forward to working with my Mid-Atlantic colleagues, Miller said in a prepared statement.

Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in HR Management from Indiana University and completed an executive education program focused on corporate finance/accounting, corporate strategy M&A and marketing at Harvard Business School.
