Chemical Co. MAPEI Adds Georgia Warehouse Location
With the Calhoun facility and another location in Florida, MAPEI Corporation operates 13 plants and warehouses in the United States.
CALHOUN, GA—MAPEI Corporation, a Florida-based company that manufactures chemical products for building, including waterproofing products, special mortars and admixtures for concrete, is adding a 210,000-square-foot warehouse in Calhoun, GA, that will be converted to produce flooring products.
“This facility will immediately operate as a warehouse, but it will transition to become our new plant for manufacturing products for resilient flooring as well as other products,” says Luigi Di Geso, president and CEO of MAPEI North America. “This location will be developed with the latest production equipment and will feature a state-of-the-art laboratory.”
With the Calhoun facility and another location in Florida, MAPEI Corporation operates 13 plants and warehouses in the United States. Plans for further expansions are forthcoming, says Di Geso.
