Tech Repair Franchise Opens 38 New Stores in Second Quarter
Among its fastest growing markets, uBreakiFix opened nine new locations in the Kansas City area and four new locations in Florida in the second quarter. The firm also expanded its footprint in Omaha, NE; Toronto, Ontario and other existing markets.
ORLANDO, FL—Locally-based tech repair franchise uBreakiFix reports the firm opened 38 new stores in the second quarter, bringing its North American store total to 408 in North America.
The firm, founded in 2009, expects to open 35 new stores between July 1 and Sept. 30, including expansion in Salt Lake City and Midwest markets such as Iowa, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma.
Among its fastest growing markets, uBreakiFix opened nine new locations in the Kansas City area and four new locations in Florida in the second quarter. The firm also expanded its footprint in Omaha, NE; Toronto, Ontario and other existing markets.

In May, uBreakiFix announced a partnership with Kansas City’s largest tech repair company, Phone Medic, to convert all eight existing Phone Medic locations to uBreakiFix stores and add three new stores in the coming months. Since Jan. 1, uBreakiFix has converted 11 independent tech repair stores to uBreakiFix franchises in markets such as Greenville, SC and Virginia Beach, VA, with plans to announce several more conversions throughout the year.
Also in May, uBreakiFix also announced a partnership with Nebraska Furniture Mart, North America’s largest home furnishing and appliance retailer. Under the partnership, uBreakiFix opened three store-within-a-store service locations in Kansas City, KS; Omaha, NE and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
