EDISON, NJ—In a transaction arranged by CBRE, all-natural frozen foods company Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods signed a long-term 56,760-square-foot industrial lease at 180 Raritan Center Parkway in Edison, NJ. Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods will occupy the only large freezer space available in the 354,000-square-foot warehouse facility.

The CBRE team of Scott Belfer, Lou Belfer and Nicholas Nitti arranged the lease on behalf of the building ownership, New York Life (NJIND Raritan Center).

Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods required freezer space in a central location to meet ts very specific distribution requirements,” says Belfer, a CBRE senior vice president. “The fully racked freezer space at 180 Raritan offers temperatures as low as -20 degrees, a unique feature in the market.”

180 Raritan Center Parkway is near the New Jersey Turnpike, Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, the George Washington Bridge, Newark Liberty International Airport and the Port.

Founded in 1994, Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods is an all-natural frozen foods company based in Elmwood Park, NJ. The national brand was established by practicing cardiac surgeons Dr. Peter Praeger and Dr. Eric Somberg.

Mary Chandis of America East Real Estate represented Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods in the lease negotiations.
