DALLAS—Dallas/Fort Worth continues to lead the nation's major metros in absolute job growth, a large chunk of which includes traditional office-using positions, according to a second quarter report by Marcus & Millichap. Increased population growth of the 20-to-34-year-old age cohort and strong net migration is luring companies and driving expansions in the metroplex.
This strong pace of hiring has underpinned tenant demand for quality space, such as M-M Properties' signing of another law firm at the Comerica Bank Tower at 1717 Main St. Touchstone Bernays has leased 20,813 rentable square feet on the 34th floor of Comerica Bank Tower, relocating to the building from Renaissance Tower. From the tenant's perspective, the move allowed Touchstone Bernays to relocate to new space and successfully positions the firm for the next generation.
