NEW YORK CITY—Sard Verbinnen & Co. has signed a 15-year lease for 65,068 square feet, occupying the entire 31st and 32nd floors at Vornado Realty Trust's 909 Third Ave. The strategic communications firm is moving from the New York office, leaving a 50,000 square-foot space at 630 Third Ave., a building owned by ATCO Properties, according to Real Capital Analytics. Additional details about the deal were not disclosed.

The new location in the 33-story building will be home to SVC's headquarters. The firm has offices in the US, Europe and Asia.

“With eight offices in key markets around the world, SVC has a global reach,” says Alan Friedman, executive managing director of Lee & Associates NYC, who represented the tenant. “This new lease will enable SVC to meet their current and future needs, which is essential in light of their continuing growth.”

Founded in 1992 and with more than 200 employees, SVC's communications services include corporate positioning, mergers and acquisitions, crisis communications, public affairs, corporate governance, litigation support and investor relations.

Some of the major tenants in the Vornado building are Interpublic, Geller & Company, Morrison Cohen LLP and Alix Partners. The building totals 1.3 million square feet and currently has 20,604 square feet available to lease, according to a Lee & Associates NYC spokesperson.

Vornado Realty Trust was represented in-house by Edward Riguardi and Ryan Levy.
