NEW YORK CITY—Ralph Lauren is leasing an additional 350,000 square feet at RXR Realty's Starrett-Lehigh Building at 601 W. 26th St. Employees from 625 Madison Ave., 550 Seventh Ave. and several other Midtown offices will move into the building, where the company's North America business operations are located. The fashion retailer's global corporate headquarters will remain at 650 Madison Ave.

Ralph Lauren states the move is part of its broader, global effort to bring teams closer together in updated spaces. The company points to the building's open floor plans, and amenities such as fitness facilities and outdoor space.

The corporation also recently announced it leased a full building in the ON3 development in Nutley, NJ. Employees will relocate to this space from the Lyndhurst, NJ office, along with some staff members from Manhattan. The company also consolidated and updated its corporate and distribution center space in Greensboro, NC. It states these moves will increase connectivity and efficiency.

Savills Studley represented Ralph Lauren in the transaction.
