PHILADELPHIA, PA AND CLEVELAND, OH—Philadelphia-based Hill International received a new three-year contract for program management and inspection services for the City of Cleveland on Dominion Energy Ohio's Pipeline Infrastructure Replacement (PIR) Program.
“For the last three years, Hill has provided specialized services to the City of Cleveland to help manage and control this complex and aggressive pipeline infrastructure replacement,” says Vic Spinabelli, PE, LEED AP, Hill's senior vice president and Mid-Atlantic regional manager. “Hill is committed to continuing to provide the City of Cleveland with attentive and thorough services as it navigates through this critical 25-year program that has wide-ranging impacts.”
DEO's PIR initiative is an overall $4 billion, 25-year program. PIR, launched in 2008, will involve the eventual replacement of more than 5,500 miles of DEO's 22,000-mile pipeline system.
Hill has served the City of Cleveland since 2015, and will continue providing program management and inspection expertise for Dominion Energy's distribution line replacement work within the City of Cleveland. Hill's role includes design review, permitting, and overseeing ancillary restoration work for roadways, curbs, sidewalks, and landscaping.
