NEW YORK CITY—The CoreNet Global New York City chapter held its 2019 New Year's Party at the Museum of Modern Art in Midtown Manhattan at 11 W. 53rd St. on Thursday night. Nearly 400 guests attended the party. The professional association has hosted the annual party for more than a decade. Last year, the event was at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Plaza. But this year it was moved to a larger venue at MoMA to provide more room for guests to network and mingle. The following new CoreNet Global NYC officers began their one-year terms, effective January 1, 2019: Chair, Jason Aster, SVP and counsel at KBA Lease Services President, Sheena Gohil, executive director at Colliers International VP, Neil Austin, VP, real estate portfolio management and transaction services at Omnicom Group The chair of the CoreNet NYC special events committee, Jennifer Abbattista, strategic account manager at Innovant, and the committee vice chairs Tracy Davis, director of tenant relations and marketing at Fisher Brothers and Jamie Feuerborn, senior associate, director of workplace strategy at Ted Moudis Associates, organized the event. With more than 1,000 active members, CoreNet NYC works to advance innovation and professional development for the corporate real estate sector.
