BERWYN, PA—Industry veteran Adam Shute has joined Jones Lang LaSalle as executive vice president, brokerage. Shute is located in JLL's Berwyn, PA office, where he will focus on driving agency leasing market share, winning tenant representation assignments and contributing to JLL's Investor Suite program as he partners with capital markets, property management and research units to source new multi-service opportunities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Adam to our already strong leasing team in Greater Philadelphia,” says Mike Morrone, executive managing director and Philadelphia market director. “His experience in agency leasing, tenant representation and investment sales in Suburban Philadelphia will help JLL bolster relationships and increase market share in the area.”

Shute has completed nearly 500 sales and lease transactions, totaling more than five million square feet in his 16 years of industry experience. He has represented more than four million square feet of office space for major landlords in the region. Shute comes to JLL from Newmark Knight Frank, where he spent the last 12 years.

At NKF, Shute exclusively represented a 20 building, two-million-square-foot portfolio and took a leadership position in developing an asset recovery platform to address lenders' needs in stabilizing distressed assets during the 2008 recession. Shute's efforts led him to receiving national top producer recognition.

“I look forward to this next chapter with JLL,” says Shute. “The JLL platform is strong and I am excited to be an integral part of this talented team. The 'Achieve Ambitions' motto runs deep here, and I look forward to leveraging the strength of JLL's platform to achieve that reality for my clients and colleagues, alike.”

Shute holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern University, St. Davids, PA, and serves on the school's board of trustees.
