Würth Baer Relocates for Efficiency
Würth Baer currently occupies 80,000 square feet of inefficient, old manufacturing space.
KANSAS CITY, MO—Würth Baer Supply Company has leased 66,448 square feet at 1758 N. Topping Ave. here. The move will allow the woodworking industry wholesale distributor greater efficiencies compared to its current location at 7440 East 12th St.
Before making the move, the Illinois-based Würth Baer had Podolsky Circle CORFAC International do a strategic analysis of suitable options in the Kansas City area that would allow for a distribution warehouse and call center.
“1758 N. Topping provides our client with an ideal location, easy access to I-35/I/435, as well as the additional space they were looking for,” said Executive Vice President Steven H. Podolsky.
Würth Baer currently occupies 80,000 square feet of inefficient, old manufacturing space, the Podolsky team tells GlobeSt.com. As a result, the company wanted to find an upgraded, modern space that would allow them to improve productivity and conditions for their employees.
In general, Würth Baer is in the midst of growth. They recently opened a branch in Pittsburgh, making that the 20th in the country, and are actively expanding a number of branch locations. In addition, the company is adding additional product lines to offer a wider base in a greater number of branches.
