BLUE BELL, PA—Arborcrest Corporate Campus is rolling out a tenant-engagement system from Equiem that will link users to amenities and classes available throughout the 855,000 square feet of class-A office space across five buildings on the large open parkland style campus.

“We are already seeing the hugely positive impact our technology is having at Arborcrest in terms of connecting those that work there and creating a greater sense of integration between the different buildings,” says Laura Acklandiene, head of business development – global expansion at Equiem. “We’re delighted to be part of a wider repositioning of this superb site and to be promoting and maximizing the fantastic facilities already available to tenants, as well as introducing new services and experiences. In keeping with the site’s reputation as the premier office campus in the Greater Philadelphia area, we are providing tenants with unrivalled hospitality and a truly satisfying working environment.”

The introduction of Equiem’s platform is part of a wider campaign to reposition the entire site and attract new tenants. Upgrades to two lobbies, the lobby café, various outdoor seating areas, signage and the creation of a site-wide walking trail are all currently underway and are expected to complete in early 2019.

2,500 people work at Arborcrest across a variety of different companies, from media and marketing firms, to technology and pharmaceutical firms. The site’s tenants include PRA Health Sciences, a major pharmaceutical contract research organization, and the site’s largest occupier, global information technology company, Unisys.

With such a wide range of occupants working across a large campus, Equiem’s technology aims to connect the Arborcrest community, and create a frictionless, vibrant and fulfilling place to work by introducing exclusive new amenities, offers and events to tenants. The platform will also promote the site’s new and existing facilities, which are managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, and include two state-of-the-art gyms, a sports field and basketball court, showers, lockers, onsite food and beverage offerings, and landscaped outdoor spaces.

Following a series of launch events held by Equiem over two days in December, including giveaways, competitions and complimentary food, registrations for the app have already surpassed 1,000, with 40% of occupants signed up.

Users can sign up for gym classes and access site information online, order food and retail products through a store function, and get news about regular events, competitions and pop-ups, including Arborcrest’s food trucks.

The site is Equiem’s first in Philadelphia and 19th in the USA since expanding into the US market just 18 months ago. The firm’s technology is rolled out across more than 57 million square feet of space worldwide and is already deployed across more than 5 million sq. ft of prime commercial space across the USA, with further deals expected to be announced in the coming months.
