SANTA CLARA, CA—Global data center REIT CyrusOne purchased 8 acres for a new facility adjacent to the company's existing land parcel that is currently under construction. Combined, the CyrusOne Santa Clara Data Center campus will be the largest mission-critical concentration in Silicon Valley, delivering more than 100 megawatts of capacity.

The campus will be able to generate up to 27MWs of energy by use of the onsite power, giving customers more aggressive power pricing. CyrusOne operates more than 45 data center facilities across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
