NASHVILLE, TN—Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets unit named industry veteran Tarek El Gammal as senior vice president in its Nashville, TN, office. He will partner with Vince Lefler, who leads the Mid-South JLL Office, and report to managing director Derrick Bloom, who leads the firm's multifamily investment sales platform in the Southeast.

Tarek has more than 20 years of multifamily experience which includes operations, capital markets and development across the Southeast,” says Bloom. “He will be a tremendous asset to our team and add value for clients as they look for help with new development and investment sales.”

El Gammal is an experienced multifamily and land broker who will focus on land sales, developer consulting and class A property sales.

Before joining JLL, El Gammal was a principal with Southeast Venture. In that role, he spearheaded three institutional multifamily developments in Nashville. Previously, he worked at the Tuckerman Group, where he focused on joint venture equity and mezzanine debt opportunities throughout the southeastern US.

El Gammal holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Hampden-Sydney College.
