CHICAGO, IL—Patrick J. Kearney, formerly a regional managing director with Tishman Speyer, has joined GlenStar Properties' executive team as a principal.

“This is an incredible opportunity to join a locally based, full-service investment and development firm with a proven track record and an established brand,” says Kearney. “GlenStar's entrepreneurial and creative spirit are extremely attractive and I'm looking forward to partnering with the principals and the firm's strong existing team to immediately grow the platform.”

Kearney will be an integral part of the leadership team, heading up acquisitions and development, the company says. He also will assist with asset management and other strategic corporate initiatives.

“We are thrilled to have Patrick on the GlenStar team,” says Michael Klein, GlenStar managing principal. “He is a recognized leader in our industry and brings a wealth of experience and creativity to our platform.”

A career commercial real estate executive, Kearney has been responsible for the acquisition, disposition and development of more than 35 million square feet and $8.5 billion of commercial and residential property.
