NEW YORK CITY—Therapath has renewed its 13,395-square-foot lease for the entire seventh floor at 545 W. 45th St. The medical services group agreed with building owner McMahon Group to extend its lease for five more years, starting in October 2019. The asking rent for the renewal was $45 per square foot.

Therapath, which operates both in the US and Canada, provides neuropathology services to hospitals and clinicians.

Dennis Someck, Justin Myers and Aidan Velle of Lee & Associates NYC represented both the tenant and owner in the transaction. The team serves as the exclusive agents for four condominium floors in the building, for sale or lease, three of which are still available.

“This neighborhood has become even more attractive to tenants after the recent opening of Hudson Yards, just a few blocks to the south,” says Someck. “Companies are continuing to migrate west, whether that's to Hudson Yards itself or to the general area. This building in particular houses a diverse mix of medical, nonprofit and creative tenants.”
