KTGY Names Stavrianos Executive Director, Architecture
Stavrianos' background includes 13 years at CallisonRTKL and a dozen years at Pappageorge Haymes Partners.
CHICAGO, IL—KTGY Architecture + Planning named Demetrios Stavrianos executive director, architecture. Stavrianos has more than 32 years of professional experience in multifamily, mixed-use, retail and office design and urban planning.

“We are excited to welcome Demetrios to our Chicago office,” says Craig Pryde, AIA, LEED AP, principal in KTGY’s Chicago office. “He has an extensive design background in residential, mixed-use and retail projects that is well-suited for KTGY, as well as a vast amount of experience in the Chicago market. He’s a strong design talent and a great fit for our studio.”
Stavrianos joined KTGY after spending 13 years at CallisonRTKL, where he served as senior associate vice president and was lead designer and residential studio director. Before that, Stavrianos was an associate with Pappageorge Haymes Partners for 12 years.
“Demetrios has a reputation as an accomplished leader, and his primary role will be to direct the design team in the Chicago studio,” Pryde says. “His architectural design capabilities and experience building collaborative teams will be an asset to KTGY’s growing multifamily, residential and mixed-use portfolio.”
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree in architectural design from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
