NEW YORK CITY—CBS has committed to staying in its current Midtown South office for another 15-years. The TV and radio broadcasting company renewed its lease at 28 E. 28th St. occupying over 164,000 square feet on the eighth through 10th floors, plus a small sub-concourse area. The asking rent on the CBS deal was in the low-$90s per square foot.

Following the lease renewal, 218,000 square feet, spanning the 11th through 15th floors in the 15-story building remains available. The asking rent on these floors range from the low-$90s to the low-$100s per square foot.

The property owners recently updated the building's infrastructure and continues to market the space, touting its location, large floorplates, neighborhood retail and dining options and access to public transportation. New York Life is another major tenant in the building which stands on E. 28th St. between Lexington and Third avenues.
