NEW YORK CITY—The Vanbarton Group has leased 10,204 square feet for seven years to ExecOnline at 31 Penn Plaza. The education tech company will occupy part of the 17th floor in the 18-story building. Additional details of the lease were not disclosed.
ExecOnline is relocating from their offices at 860 Broadway, between E. 17th and E. 18th streets into the Midtown South location at 132 W. 31st St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
JLL's Mitchell Konsker, Matthew Astrachan, Adam Haber and Kyle Young represented the Vanbarton Group. Savills' Gabe Marans and Justin Greenstone represented ExecOnline.
Konsker notes in the past six months Vanbarton Group has signed almost 128,000 square feet in leases with JLL handling the negotiations. Recent transactions include Spaces taking 83,840 square feet, Capsule Corp. signing for 20,726 square feet, the Credit Junction expanding by 6,706 square feet and Revtrax leasing 6,523 square feet.
The 12th and 15th floors which have approximately 23,000 to 24,000 square feet are still available.
The Vanbarton Group recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation that included restoring the façade, adding a lobby conference center, reconfiguring the penthouse and rooftop terrace, modernizing security, enhancing infrastructure, and upgrading common areas, additional retail and tenant amenities.
