Amazon Mum on Plans But Bellevue Says Otherwise
If rumors are true, Amazon would move thousands of operations employees across Lake Washington to Bellevue Corporate Plaza, which would house this team tasked with ensuring package delivery.
BELLEVUE, WA—Rumors are swirling that Amazon is expected to close on the 10-story Bellevue Corporate Plaza. If that is indeed true, Amazon would move thousands of operations employees across Lake Washington to the building at 600 108th Ave NE.
Bellevue city representatives reportedly said the city is planning for the arrival of thousands of new Amazon workers who are part of the worldwide operations team with responsibilities such as ensuring package delivery. The city was originally slated to have up to 5,000 employees, but Amazon may be considering space for as many as 25,000 workers.
Bellevue Corporate Plaza is a 10-story office building located in the Bellevue CBD adjacent to the Bellevue Transit Center and within walking distance of Bellevue Square and The Bravern. The Energy Star-certified property features an updated lobby, three-level above-ground parking garage, tenant lounge, deli, secured bicycle storage and shower/locker facilities.
