Colliers Has Made New Executive Hires at DC Office

Bill Zonghetti and Larry Bank will join the company as executive vice presidents.

WASHINGTON, DC—Colliers International Group has hired Bill Zonghetti, Larry Bank and Will Classen for its local office where they have been charged with expanding the company’s tenant representation with a particular focus on the competitive downtown submarket.

Both Zonghetti and Bank will join as executive vice presidents while Classen joins as an associate. The trio comes from 360 Real Estate Advisors after previously working together at Newmark Knight Frank where Zonghetti served as managing partner, Bank as executive managing director and Classen as associate broker.

Over the course of his 29 years in the real estate industry, Zonghetti has brokered more than 25 million square feet in total deals and is responsible for securing corporate headquarters for many top organizations in the DC area. He has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker of the Year for the past 15 years and was honored by Newmark Knight Frank as the recipient of the company’s national top producer award on two occasions.

Bank brings over 29 years of business and real estate experience to Colliers. In 1993, Bank founded The Bank Cos., a tenant representation brokerage firm in the Washington metropolitan region. Ultimately Bank Cos. merged with then Newmark and Co. of New York. Bank also founded the Real Estate Resources Group, which is a lease auditing firm.

Classen also joins Colliers from Newmark, where he worked on lease negotiations with landlords.

Zonghetti, Bank and Classen clients include J.P. Morgan, Girl Scouts of the USA, Goldman Sachs, Smithsonian, The American Civil Liberties Union, the Sierra Club, Facebook and Ropes & Gray.
