PayLease has acquired apartment living smart hub Zego. PayLease, a proptech provider for the property management and homeowners association industries backed by Vista Equity Partners, plans to integrate Zego technology into its platform in a move that will enhance efficiency and engagement for apartment communities.

PayLease's current service offerings include online payments, resident billing, and utility expense management tools for property management companies. It more than 4,500 property management companies and 12.5 million units nationwide.

Zego, on the other hand, powers smart home devices through a mobile app to create convenience and accessibility. The combination of the two platforms will create a hybrid experience for users to better enhance the apartment living experience.
