Multifamily developer Greystar continues to grow its San Diego multifamily portfolio. The firm has picked up a development site at 6th and Olive in San Diego for an undisclosed price from St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral. It plans to build a 20-story, 204-unit apartment building, and it will supply improved office space and 70 designated parking stalls.

The project has already been approved by the San Diego City Council, and construction is expected to begin in June. The development will include 18 affordable housing units.

Tim Winslow, Jason Kimmel and Kevin Nolen of Cushman & Wakefield's San Diego office represented the seller in the transaction.
