ATLANTA—Montreal-based Frankforter Group has acquired a 623-unit multifamily portfolio in the Atlanta area. The purchase price was $39.5 million.
The portfolio includes the Preserve at Collier Ridge, a 419-unit multifamily asset, and Orchard Walk, a 204-unit multifamily asset.
The Preserve at Collier Ridge, built in 1971, is in the Buckhead neighborhood a mile away from the I-75. Orchard Walk, built in 1970, has easy access to I-20 and I-285 and is in short distance from the South Dekalb Mall.
In 2018, the Frankforter Group bought The Station at Richmond Hill, a 181-unit property in Atlanta. Yaakov Frankforter, CEO of The Frankforter Group, said the company plans to expand its footprint in Atlanta and has a “few more acquisitions in the pipeline.”
