Engineering Firm to Relocate from Elk Grove to Rolling Meadows
S-E-A, an expert forensic engineering and consulting firm, has signed a lease for 33,590 square feet of space with building owner School Health at the recently completed building that serves as the headquarters for School Health.
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—Engineering firm S-E-A is relocating its Chicago area office later this year to nearly 34,000 square feet at 5600 Apollo Drive here.
S-E-A, an expert forensic engineering and consulting firm, has signed a lease for 33,590 square feet of space with building owner School Health at the recently completed building that serves as the headquarters for School Health, which is a national, full-service provider of health supplies and services to health professionals in educational settings from pre-school to college.
S-E-A-is headquartered in Columbus, OH and has 11 locations nationwide.
The lease transaction was reported by CBRE. The brokerage firm’s Cal Payne, Matt Mulvihill, Kevin Segerson and Philip DeBoer represented School Health in the transaction. S-E-A was represented by Steven Joseph, Noah Turner and Stephen Scott of CBIZ Gibraltar.
In 2017, the CBRE team of Payne, Mulvihill, Segerson and DeBoer represented the company in the land acquisition for its current headquarters site in Rolling Meadows. The firm contracted Trammell Crow Co. to act as developer and Krusinski Construction as the general contractor to construct the 120,704-square-foot facility that now serves as its new headquarters. School Health occupies 87,114 square feet at the property, which allowed for excess space that could generate investment income for the firm.
“School Health took a very smart approach to the development of its new headquarters,” says CBRE’s Payne. “It now has this incredible, state-of-the-art space, and it will generate cash flow with the lease to S-E-A, a leading forensic engineering and failure company.”
S-E-A will relocate from its current location at 1800 Howard St. in Elk Grove Village and occupy its new space in Rolling Meadows in the fourth quarter of this year.
