Bob White, founder and CEO of Real Capital Analytics
NEW YORK CITY—Real Capital Analytics has raised $115 million from Susquehanna Growth Equity. RCA states the investment is the largest ever growth financing garnered by a commercial real estate tech and information business. The investment comprised Series B equity as well as debt. Proceeds were used in part to redeem Series A shares issued in 2007 to a unit of Daily Mail and General Trust plc.
RCA founder Bob White is continuing to serve as CEO and with RCA employees maintains a controlling stake in the company.
“This investment marks a new stage in our evolution and positions RCA for continued growth well into the future,” says Bob White, RCA's founder and CEO. “My team and I are confident that SGE will provide tremendous support, expertise and financial flexibility to RCA.”
Scott Feldman, managing director of SGE, affirmed his company's confidence in RCA, having worked with White and the RCA team over the last decade.
Founded in 2000, RCA is an online commercial real estate database company that provides information and trends to commercial real estate professionals. Headquartered in New York City, the firm also has offices in San Jose, London and Singapore. Its database includes 172 countries, covering more than $18 trillion of transactions with 200,000 investor and lender profiles.
SGE is an equity investor funded by entrepreneurs. It invests in growth stage technology companies in the software, information services, internet and financial technology sectors. It has invested over $1 billion in 51 companies over the last 13 years, and has portfolio companies across the US, Canada, the European Union and Israel.
