Chandler Builds Parking Structure As Population Grows

The $20 million project will provide 932 parking spaces to fulfill parking needs as the population grows.

The City of Chandler in Arizona has topped off a $20 million parking structure that will bring 932 parking stalls to the market. Population growth throughout Phoenix has fueled the need for more parking near City Hall, restaurants and retail amenities. The parking structure will be the largest in the city.

The five-story parking structure development includes a road realignment along Oregon Street as well as intersection improvements at Arizona Avenue and Chicago Street.

Following the topping off, construction will focus on the interior rough-in, exterior skin, site work and off-site improvements over the summer. The parking lot should open in November 2019.
