CHICAGO, IL – JLL has announced the addition of five new brokerage experts to strengthen its industrial practice in Chicago. Mark Nelson, SIOR, Michael Nelson, SIOR, Gavin Stainthorpe, Michael Conway and Brian Etten collectively join JLL from NelsonHill, a Chicago-based commercial real estate services firm.

With professional backgrounds in urban industrial leasing, property management, sales and acquisitions, the new team will assist in expanding JLL's geographical coverage and deepening their expertise on urban industrial assets. JLL continues their commitment to seeking high-quality talent, strategically hiring the specific team to strengthen existing services and leverage brokerage operations. The team has expressed their excitement toward the opportunity to become valuable partners and work with the firm's market leaders to enhance client offerings.

Brothers, Mark and Michael Nelson, formed the NelsonHill team in 2010, to focus on urban infill sales and acquisitions and commercial leasing assignments. At Nelson Hill, they produced value through redevelopment and adaptive reuse industrial assets in Chicago. The team led the recent Fulton Market transformation with more than $1 million in transaction volume. Following the 1200 W. Randolph sale and conversion to New-York-based City Winery, the team is currently working on the sale of 1234 W. Randolph to The Standard Hotel. They are also credited with repurposing various historical buildings in the South Loop neighborhood, with more than 400,000 square feet of adaptive reuse sales within the historic Motor Row District.

Mark Nelson and Michael Nelson join JLL as Senior Vice Presidents, as Stainthorpe, Conway and Etten join as Vice Presidents.

JLL is a professional services firm and a Fortune 500 company that specializes in real estate and investment management. The firm's annual revenue is $16.3 billion with operations in over 80 countries and global workforce of more than 91,000 professionals.
