The Newmark Group has acquired Utah market leader ACRES. The company has operated as Newmark Grubb ACRES through an alliance agreement with NKF. The acquisition will strengthen Newmark's Southwest position, which is a key region for the firm.

ACRES current Southwest footprint includes Salt Lake City, Davis/Weber County and Utah County, and additional presence in Boise, Idaho and Reno, Nevada.

ACRES has a total of five offices and 45 brokers. Its current suite of services includes landlord and tenant representation, investment sales and asset management services to nearly 10 million square feet.
