Net Lease Team Leaves Marcus & Millichap to Launch SAB Capital
Some 20 employees have joined the new company, which will focus on the net lease market.
NEW YORK—A group of locally-based net lease investment professionals based have left Marcus & Millichap to launch a national commercial real estate brokerage firm called SAB Capital that focuses on the net lease market.
Some 20 employees have joined the new company, which is headed by managing partners, Preet Sabharwal, Dan Corcoran, Zach Weiss, Aaron Baum, and Michael Soleimani.
Under Marcus & Millichap, the principals and founding members transacted over $1.5 billion, they report. In 2018 alone, the group closed on 84 transactions nationwide. SAB Capital is bringing to the table hyper-market specialization as well as partnerships with information platforms, the company says.
“With over a decade of experience in the sector, we’re excited to continue serving our clients and look forward to continuing with our ‘putting clients first’ ideology,” Soleimani said in prepared remarks.
