PCI Pharma Services, a biopharmaceutical outsourcing services provider, has signed a lease with the Irvine Co. for a space at Canyon Ridge Technology Park. The company will lease 38,000 square feet in the 11-bulding facility, located in Sorrento Mesa.

The location will serve as PCI's main storage, logistics and distribution center on the West Coast. The new two-story state-of-the-art facility will be equipped for cold chain requirements for 2-8°C, -20°C, and -80°C with expanded ultra-low freezer capabilities, as well as cryogenic liquid nitrogen storage at -196°C.

In 2018, PCI acquired San Diego-based Sherpa Clinical Packaging. The acquisition expanded PCI's U.S. operations to the West Coast.
