1775 Tysons Boulevard
WASHINGTON DC– Lerner Enterprises has announced four new lease transactions in the Washington DC metropolitan area, including a 61,525-square foot expansion with WeWork.
WeWork is expanding its footprint at 1775 Tysons Blvd. at Tysons II in Virginia. The coworking space and services company will occupy the 11th and 12th floors of the building, adding the 61,525-square-foot space to its additional 425 locations around the world. WeWork has occupied 92,500 square feet on the LEED Platinum building's fourth, fifth and sixth floors since 2016, which marked the company's entrance into the Tysons market. The transaction brings the 17-story building to 100% occupancy. JLL's Brian Tucker and John Dragelin represented Lerner in the transaction.
Other leases include:
Sallie Mae has signed a lease at Lerner's 21000 Atlantic Boulevard for 27,000 square feet on the building's sixth floor in Dulles, Virginia. Sallie Mae, a company that offers services and assists in saving, planning and paying for college, will occupy the space located at Dulles Town Center. Harry Klaff and Robert Shue of JLL represented Sallie Mae in the transaction. Andy Klaff and Jeff Tarae of Newmark Knight Frank represented 21000 Atlantic Boulevard and Lerner in the transaction.
Alpha Corp., a multidisciplinary construction consulting firm is leasing 16,316 square feet on the fourth floor of 21000 Atlantic Blvd. in Dulles, VA. The Loudon County-based firm, which recently oversaw the St. Louis Gateway Arch National Park redesign and update, will occupy the fourth floor of the 184,000-square-foot Class A office building. Kelly Kat of JLL represented Alpha Corporation, while Andy Klaff and Jeff Tarae of Newmark Knight Frank represented 21000 Atlantic Boulevard and Lerner in the transaction.
Steward Partner Holdings will reside at 1800 Tysons Blvd. at Tysons II, a 12-story, 320,000-square-foot office building development in Northern Virginia. The wealth management firm, headquartered in Washington DC with 17 US offices, will occupy 8,564 square feet of the third floor of the building. The firm is slated to take occupancy in early 2020. Demetri Koutrovelis of Savills Studley represented Steward Partners in the transaction. Brian Tucker and John Dragelin of JLL represented 1800 Tysons Blvd. and Lerner.
