GlobeSt.com and GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum honor this year's woman of influence, including newly focused categories, judge's categories and more here in Broomfield, CO.

GlobeSt.com kicked off our inaugural Women of Influence special retreat last night and put together a spotlight on the achievements of women in commercial real estate. Before the event, we collected nominations across a number of fields.

As always, our seasoned editorial team was seeking the best of the best across the commercial real estate spectrum. In evaluating the entries, we took into account a number of factors, including: the nominee's impact on, and reputation within, her firm and broader professional community; the nominee's professional career highlights, from dealmaking savvy and innovation to client satisfaction and personal growth; a proven ability to achieve goals and display ingenuity in terms of creative thinking and problem solving; her dedication to furthering the development of her field and the role of women within it; accomplishments and involvement in her company, the CRE industry and broader social community;  a personal commitment to the highest ethical standards, service and excellence; and so much more.

Since 1983, Forum's Women of Influence has recognized remarkable commercial real estate professionals who have significantly influenced the market or had outstanding successes.

Before we ran through each of our categories at the gala, we gave special mention to our Standout Women of Influence. These are women that have submitted for specific categories, but per the judge's discretion, have been singled out as going above and beyond the category they were nominated for. It is from those standouts that we chose our Lifetime Achievement Award recipient as well as our Woman of the Year. Those women were as follows:

Jean Kane, Colliers International | MSP

Nancy Lundeen , Allen Matkins

Debra Stracke Anderson, Sloan Street Advisors Inc.

Jodi V. Meade, Avison Young

Billie J. Redmond, TradeMark Properties

Darcy Stacom, CBRE

Mary Ann Tighe, CBRE

Some of the categories received such a high caliber of entries that our editorial team chose to honor more than one Women of Influence at last night's event. The winners of this year's awards are as follows.
