CLEMSON, SC – The Preiss Company, alongside a private real estate fund, advised by Crow Holdings Capital, have acquired Aspen Heights, a 598-bed student housing complex near Clemson University. The property was purchased for an undisclosed amount and has been rebranded as The Collective at Clemson.
The complex, located at 673 Old Greenville Highway in Clemson, SC, is comprised of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom townhouses and cottages. Each unit displays an open floorplan, granite countertops, black appliances, shaker-style cabinets, linen closets and a washer and dryer. The units are situated around a communal space, offering a pool, hot tub, volleyball court, basketball courts and outdoor fireplaces. The property also includes a clubhouse which features a computer lab, study lounge, movie theatre, game room and fitness center.
The housing complex will undergo various upgrades such as clubhouse enhancements and amenity updates, as well as new flooring, unit furniture and exterior paint.
The Preiss Company is a privately-held, student housing owner and operator based in Raleigh, NC. The company focuses on developing, acquiring and managing off-campus student housing.
