CityView Names Khalif Edwards as Managing Director

Multifamily investor and developer CityView has hired Khalif Edwards as managing director of capital raising and investor relations. With 20 years of experience in the industry, Edwards will work to broaden and diversify the firm’s investor and develop institutional relationships.

Edwards joins the firm from Clarion Partners, where he served as managing director and equity partner. In the position, he headed West Coast capital fundraising and client relationships for all of the firm’s funds and separate accounts, leading his team in raising $3 billion in equity from 2012 to 2019.

Edwards resume includes positions held at TIAA-CREF Investment Management, Merrill Lynch & Co. and EastDil Secured. He has a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School with a concentration in real estate and corporate finance, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
