HARTFORD, CT—Propark Mobility, one of the nation’s largest privately-owned parking companies, reports it has appointed Greg Tyler as EVP, hospitality and healthcare.

“We’re excited to welcome Greg Tyler to our team, as he helps drive continued success in our hospitality and healthcare portfolios,” said John Reimers, Propark’s chief operating officer. “Greg is a world-class hospitality professional with an extensive and highly successful background in building large industry leading teams, meaningful client engagement, organizational design, and growth initiatives, all of which are a perfect fit for Propark Mobility.”

Tyler began his career in the industry in 1992 as guest service associate for Mile Hi Valet Service. After several promotions and relocations over the next 11 years he became the firm’s VP in 2003. Tyler played key a key role in multiple acquisitions between 2007 and 2009 including the acquisition of Mile Hi Valet Service by Towne Park in 2008.

As Propark Mobility’s EVP, Hospitality and Healthcare, Tyler will oversee the performance and development of the company’s portfolio of hotel and hospital accounts. He will also collaborate with the executive team, the corporate office and other senior leaders to streamline processes, continue to enhance service delivery, improve profitability and maximize financial return for clients, the company states.

“The Parking Dream Team just added another all-star who will help drive asset appreciation for our stakeholders,” says John Schmid, Propark’s CEO. “With over 26 years of specialized hospitality parking experience, Greg brings with him a unique awareness of the hospitality world that will harmoniously merge with our service-oriented business model, delivering exceptional results for our existing and future clients.”

In June the company announced its rebranding that changed the corporate name from Propark America to Propark Mobility. The rebranding of the company reflected what it says was its growing involvement in transportation and mobility solutions.

Repositioned as a technology company, Propark Mobility is now a sustainable “neighborhood-centric nest” for mobility services, including electric vehicle charging stations, mobile phone parking apps, mass transit connectivity hubs, package delivery locker stations, and more.
