Melissa Deen has been named chief strategy office at Sunrise Management. The position was created for Deen, and in the role, she will support corporate innovation and identification and implementation of industry best practices at the company.

Deen formerly served as VP of marketing at Sunrise Management, and has been with the company for nine years. She has a 15-year career in the multifamily and new home industries, and was previously the VP of sales and marketing for San Diego-based Ami Samuel Interiors, where she was responsible for all corporate marketing and business development for a variety of new home communities.

Sunrise Management has grown to a company with 380 employees and operates a portfolio of 14,000 multifamily units throughout the Southwest.
