L Catterton Real Estate and QIC Global Real Estate have formed a partnership to reposition the former South Bay Galleria shopping mall into a mixed-use complex with hotel, office, apartments and retail. The renovation site is nearly 30 acres.

The project will be retail focused, and the initial phase will feature commercial and accommodation space, improved transport and bicycle connections, and substantial public space.
