Spire Printing Signs 62K Lease in Peabody
The 134,732-square-foot building was acquired by Novaya Real Estate in August 2015.
PEABODY, MA—Spire Printing will be relocating its operations in Boston to 62,000 square feet of newly leased space at Novaya Real Estate Ventures’ 1 First Ave. office building here later this summer.
The 134,732-square-foot building was acquired by Novaya Real Estate of Boston in August 2015. Major tenants at the property, according to Novaya’s website include: Analogic, Schwartz & Benjamin and S.G. Torrice.
Novaya was represented by Colliers International president Greg Klemmer, SVP Tim Brodigan and associates Tim Allen and Dan Driscoll. Spire was represented by John Cremmen of Danenberg Realty Advisors. Nick Eddy, project manager for Novaya, will oversee construction of the premises alongside Bowdoin Construction.
Spire was founded in 1988. In addition to its current headquarters in Boston, the firm has offices in New York, London and Hong Kong.
Shawn Hawthorne, VP of asset management at Novaya Real Estate Ventures, notes “This deal reflects a true transition of traditional storage-based warehouse space to a state-of the-art digital printing lab. We are excited to complete construction and welcome Spire Printing in late summer.”
