Driver SPG, the special projects group of C.W. Driver Cos., has promoted Aimee Siemianowski to SVP. In the position, she will oversee the company’s budget, operations and business development as well as the long-term business strategy.

“I am looking forward to working with our executive leadership team on expanding Driver SPG and C.W. Driver Companies’ foundation for growth and success,” Siemianowski tells GlobeSt.com. “This new role is a great fit, as it allows me to leverage past experience and best practices from my time in the design, development and construction industries to continue building a great business model, establishing strong partnerships and creating a positive culture for our C.W. Driver Companies team members.”

Siemianowski is overseeing several key projects for the firm. At the moment, those projects include the ground-up construction of Valley Beth Shalom’s Howard and Irene Levine Community Center; ground-up construction of Newport Beach Country Club; full tenant improvement build out of Anduril Industries’ headquarters in Irvine; renovations of Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach and the ground-up construction of St. Junipero Serra Catholic School’s chapel and student creation center in Rancho Santa Margarita. Siemianowski sees the most demand for renovation projects. “In California, where Driver SPG and C.W. Driver Companies are based and work, much of the construction demand centers around rehabilitation and transformation of existing sites and buildings into new experiences and environments,” she says. “This is primarily due to the amount of density, cost of land and process for entitlements.”

Looking out over the next 12 months, she sees continued demand for redevelopment and renovation projects. “The demand to reinvent sites, buildings and spaces to keep pace with the global economy and the needs of a growing technology industry should keep construction activity in California consistent over the next twelve months,” she says. “Driver SPG and C.W. Driver Companies strive to maintain a diverse client base to weather market ebb and flow.”

He goal in this new position is to keep building on the company’s current business. “My primary goal in this new position is to provide ideas, direction and support to our processes and people so Driver SPG and C.W. Driver Cos. can continue to be leaders in determining where the construction industry is heading,” she says. “We want to keep striving towards building better communities together.”
