Transwestern Reveals New DC Finance Team
The firm has appointed Andrew Asbill and Trevor Campbell to spearhead the new service line.
WASHINGTON DC – Transwestern Commercial Services has unveiled a new structured finance group as an addition to its Washington DC office.
Appointing the complimentary service line to the firm’s national platform of resources, Transwestern aims to benefit clients by offering solutions to enhance its capital market business line.
The firm has recruited Andrew Asbill and Trevor Campbell to spearhead the new group as managing directors. The team will focus on equity and debt placement, serving investors and clients in the Mid-Atlantic.
Asbill and Campbell each have experience in solving complex financing needs within the industry. Together, they have partnered with investors throughout the Washington DC area, including clients such as DSC Partners, Foulger-Pratt, JBG Smith, Grander Capital Partners, Willard Retail and Declaration Partners.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Asbill gained 19 years of experience within commercial real estate financing, investment sales, leasing, and asset management. He served as senior director at Sage Capital Advisors, before recently serving as senior vice president at JLL. He has been involved in more than $4 billion in sales and capitalizations within the past ten years.
Campbell most recently served as vice president of the capital markets group at JLL, where he structured debt and equity on behalf of commercial property owners and operators. With 17 years of commercial real estate experience, Campbell has also taken part in the financing, sale or acquisition of more than $4 billion in commercial real estate assets throughout his career.
