Industrious to Open New Location at Florida Shopping Center
The opening of the Industrious location at the open-air Esplanade at Aventura is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.
AVENTURA, FL—Industrious will occupy approximately 30,000 square feet of space at Seritage Growth Properties’ Esplanade at Aventura, which is currently under development. The deal is part of a larger agreement where the co-working firm will establish locations at five of the retail REIT’s US mall properties—and possibly more.

The opening of the Industrious location at the open-air Esplanade at Aventura is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020. The first phase of Esplanade at Aventura will feature the ground-up development of 215,000 square feet of experiential retail, unique entertainment and fine dining in an open-air setting.
Industrious Esplanade at Aventura will feature shared workplaces and private offices for teams of various sizes and amenities such as Wi-Fi, a cafe, networking events and programming and access to its national network.
Esplanade at Aventura is designed by SB Architects, the Rockwell Group, and Wet Design, and will include among its dining and entertainment collection: The Loyal, by Michelin-starred chef John Fraser; Jarana, by Peruvian culinary ambassador, Chef Gaston Acurio, in addition to, Joey Restaurant, and Pinstripes, an experiential entertainment concept with bowling and bocce.
As part of their partnership, Seritage and Industrious announced plans in May for a location at The Collection at UTC in La Jolla, CA. Industrious currently has over 85 locations across more than 45 U.S. cities. Past and present Industrious members include: Compass, Heineken, Humana, Lyft, Pandora, Pinterest, and Zillow.
Seritage Growth Properties has 194 wholly-owned properties and 27 joint venture retail and mixed-use properties totaling approximately 35.1 million square feet of space across 45 states and Puerto Rico.
