Sandra Boyle Boyle says it will be her number one focus that clients always remain at the center of the C&W platform.

SAN FRANCISCO—Cushman & Wakefield recently appointed Sandra Boyle to the role of West region lead for asset services based in San Francisco. Boyle has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate with expertise in asset and portfolio management, project management and ground-up development.

"As a firm, we remain wholly committed to continuing to put the best people in the right places, especially as it pertains to our leadership structure," says Andrew McDonald, president of the West region of Cushman & Wakefield. "For many years, Sandra has been a remarkable leader, mentor and role model with Cushman & Wakefield, and we are thrilled to promote her to this upper-echelon position where she will maintain her sharp focus on maximizing value for our clients."

In her new role, Boyle will be responsible for growing the firm's asset services portfolio in the West region with a focus on client care, team engagement, developing best practices and talent recruitment. Her territorial responsibility includes California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Texas.

"Our strong and thriving platform and infrastructure is one of the best in the commercial real estate industry, driven by highly skilled, hard-working professionals from all C&W service lines who support every effort of our asset services team," Boyle tells GlobeSt.com. "It will be my number one focus and that of my colleagues that our clients always remain at the center of our platform as our dedicated team exposes them to our ideas, expertise and preparation for 'what's next'."

Boyle joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2011 as director of asset services and soon thereafter moved into the chief operating officer role for San Francisco. Most recently, she served as city lead for the firm's asset services' 54 million-square-foot Northern California portfolio. Boyle has been instrumental in the growth of the firm's West region portfolio, helping establish relationships with many of Cushman & Wakefield's key clients in Northern California and across the region.

"Sandra is an accomplished, elite leader with a tremendous passion for client service and a successful career spanning many industry disciplines," says Marla Maloney, Cushman & Wakefield's president of asset services in the Americas. "Her leadership, knowledge, effective communication and ability to partner with key business leaders will ensure we continue to drive exceptional client results and bolster our talented West region team."

Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Boyle was an executive vice president of asset management and development for Glenborough LLC where she directed many of the company's core functions and corporate divisions.

According to a Cushman & Wakefield report, additional rent increases, particularly for prime class-A space, along with the IPO onslaught of more San Francisco-based companies going public, will both continue through the rest of the year.
