Virtua Capital Partners has expanded its business development team. The investor, which is highly active in the opportunity zone space, has hired Michael Roman as SVP of business development.

In the new role, Roman will head up distribution for Virtua Capital Management offerings launched in the independent broker dealer and RIA channels, two areas where Virtua Capital Management sees immense room for growth.

Roman brings 20 years of experience to the firm. His career includes roles as head of capital markets for major investment firms as well as wholesale experience. Michael maintains a FINRA series 7, 63 and 79 with Emerson Securities, Inc.
