JCR Capital Hires New Senior Director for Deal Sourcing

JCR Capital has hired Brian Cornell as senior director of deal sourcing. In the role, Cornell will be responsible for deal sourcing, portfolio construction, and underwriting support across JCR’s fund and separate account platforms.

Cornell brings 15 years of experience to the firm, with a special focus on the middle markets. Prior to joining JCR, he was the SVP of real estate investment management at The Amstar Group, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm active in the United States and select international markets.

Cornell’s career also includes working as a VP in charge of asset management at The Broe Group, overseeing asset management of Broe’s national office portfolio, and he began his career in Los Angeles at Secured Capital, now Eastdil Secured, where he assisted on investment sales and debt placements exceeding $3 billion in total transaction volume.
