Carr Properties Opens Third WaveOffice
The company is leasing the workspace in a class-A office building within Washington DC’s Central Business District.
WASHINGTON DC – Carr Properties has opened its third WaveOffice location. The space, located at 2001 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington DC, is now available for lease.
The WaveOffice offers five private office suites for up to 30 professionals per suite. The office, located on the 11-story building’s fifth floor, features communal areas, two conference rooms, huddle rooms, a dedicated pantry, a wellness room and multiple touchdown spots.
Tenants of the WaveOffice will have access to the building’s amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center and bike storage. The building is additionally constructing a new 30-40 person shared conference center, to open summer of 2020.
WaveOffice, a subsidiary of Carr Properties, is a flexible office product that offers companies turnkey office suites ranging from 2,000 square feet to 4,000 square feet. The offices provide shared communal areas such as kitchens, conference rooms and gathering areas, as well as high-speed internet and craft coffee. WaveOffice suites may be rented furnished or unfurnished, for as short as a one year term.
Carr Properties is a privately held REIT, which owns, manages, acquires and develops properties in Washington DC and Boston. The company controls a portfolio of 14 commercial office properties totaling 3.8 million square feet, with a current pipeline of projects that will add an additional 2.4 million square feet.
