Rolls-Royce North America Relocates Headquarters to Reston Metro Plaza
The firm will move into the first of three Comstock office towers in the mixed-use development, in early 2020.
RESTON, VA – Rolls-Royce North America is moving its headquarters to 1900 Reston Metro Plaza at Reston Station, in early 2020. The company is relocating from Reston Town Center.
The company’s future location is the first of three trophy-class office towers at Reston Station, developed and managed by Comstock Holding Companies Inc. The 16-story glass structure, situated adjacent to Reston’s first silver line metro station, offers outdoor amenity spaces, catering kitchens, a fitness facility, a multi-room conference facility and a two-story glass lobby.
The property serves as the first building in Virginia to be designed by the world-renowned architect, Helmut Jahn. The tower features a concrete exoskeleton structural system, enabling a column-free interior space.
In addition to serving as the Rolls-Royce North American headquarters, Reston, VA serves as the worldwide headquarters for Rolls-Royce Defense business and Corporate & Regional Aircraft business.
Reston Station, located midway between Tysons Corner and Dulles International Airport, is one of the largest mixed-use, transit-oriented developments in the Washington DC area, covering nearly 40 acres of space.
