KANSAS – Oxford Finance LLC has closed a term loan to a portfolio company of Skyway Group, which will be managed by senior living and skilled rehabilitation community provider, Mission Health Communities LLC.
The funds will finance the acquisition of 15 skilled nursing facilities throughout Kansas.
Mission Health Communities aims to expand its Kansas footprint with the new acquisitions; intending to grow the communities under new ownership. Oxford Finance will partner with the senior living provider to assist with its portfolio expansion.
The transaction represents Oxford Finance's first partnership with Mission Health Communities.
Oxford Finance LLC, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, is a specialty finance firm that provides senior debt to public and private life sciences and healthcare services companies, internationally. The firm has originated more than $5 billion in loans within the last few years.
Mission Health Communities, founded in 2006, manages long-term care, senior living, assisted living, short-stay rehabilitation and skilled nursing communities throughout the US. The company currently manages 45 communities in Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Skyway Group is a private investment firm that invests in lower middle market businesses. The firm offers capital and strategic resources to assist in accelerating company growth.
